Jim Lawler
Slothjaer
serves as the creative force behind ironcheflouie.com and head
dance instructor. As a freelance web designer for Red
Arrow Communications while maintaining his own personal
homepage at slothjaer.com,
Slothjaer brings six years experience designing for the web
and even more experience being an all around fun guy.
The story of Slothjaer is an inspiring tale of a young boy
with a special skill. Our story begins in Lynnfield middle school
with an awkwardly handsome boy by the name of Jim Lawler. Jim
was of a slight build, to say the very least, mostly due to
the fact that future Iron Cheffers Louie Dibicarri and Jon Barsamian
would beat him and steal his lunch money.
Fast forward to High school where Jim displayed a remarkable
talent for drawing naked pictures of the assistant principal.
So impressed by these drawings were school officials that Jim
was sent to a “special” weekend school for people
with similar “talents”. It was here that he met
a boy by the name of Dave Smith. Actually, they didn’t
so much meet as much as Jim walked in on Dave trying to hook
up with the second hottest girl, not under the influence of
alcohol, that Dave ever kissed. It was also Slothjaer’s
impeccable awkwardness that introduced Smithass to the first
hottest girl, not under the influence of alcohol, that Dave
ever kissed, proving once again that all things work out in
the end.
Years later, Slothjaer would be reunited with Smithass at
Syracuse University, mostly due to the fact that no other higher
learning institute in the country would accept them. At S.U.,
Slothjaer and Smithass became quite adept at doing as little
homework as possible while throwing great parties and acting
like all around buffoons.
Present day, Slothjaer has matured to the point where no longer
is able to slack off as much as possible, but thanks to Iron
Chef night, he’s still able to throw great parties and
act like a buffoon.
