Born In 1975,
on the wooden floor of a small Gondola racing through
the canals of Venice Italy, Louie DiBiccari was the first
offspring of Mr and Mrs. DiBicarri, a humble olive farmer
and a battered circus performer. Sharing a strong passion
for good food & friends and an even stronger passion
for hitting the bottle, Mr. and Mrs. DiBiccari could have
never known that their first son Louie would grow up to
be one of the world’s finest Chef-Entertainers to
date.
Iron
Sous Chef Ian Ian Grossman
Hailing from
Chicago, Illinois, Ian is the wild card of the Iron Chef
Louie operation. If it weren't for Ian's hard work beside
Louie in the Brookhawk kitchen, you'd be eating pizza
bagels every Iron Chef Thursday. After training at the
Culinary Institute of America, Ian's skills have been
honed in such fine kitchens as Le Bernadin in New York
and L'Espelier here in Beantown. After suffering his share
of setbacks from causing employees to collapse in tears,
he has landed himself a gig with the highly successful
Radius group in Boston (the most respected restaurant
organization in Boston, and maybe in the US). Currently,
he is the general manager of the Great Bay Restaurant
in Kenmore Square.
Vonass Kevin Vonasek
Originally from
the small town of Marlboro Kevin attended Trintiy College
with big time aspirations. While at Trinity, Kevin befriended
Scott Heidorn and the rest as they say, is history. After
graduating, Kevin started working for a software company
that was purchased by a Canadian company. Instead of moving north of the border he decided to take some
time and travel
the world, exploring such lands as Australia, Japan
and Thailand.
Slothjaer Jim Lawler
Slothjaer serves
as the creative force behind ironcheflouie.com and head
dance instructor. As a freelance web designer for Red
Arrow Communications while maintaining his own personal
homepage at slothjaer.com,
Slothjaer brings six years experience designing for the
web and even more experience being an all around fun guy.
Smithass Dave Smith
The voice behind
Iron Chef Louie, Smithass brings you the email updates
and also makes sure Louie doesn't get out of his cage
and run rampant. A seasoned veteran, he's been involved
with the Iron Chef Louie Extravaganza from the conception
(not Louie but the party) and knows what it takes to throw
a successful ICL Night-- lots of booze, fun people and
weird ingredients. Oh yeah and more booze. And nothing
brings a smile to his face like pausing in the middle
of a big night, looking around and seeing all the Cheffers
talking, laughing and having a blast.
After all that was the plan.
Heidorn Scott Heidorn
Scott Heidorn
oversees Iron Chef‚s corporate development (carnal
knowledge and inchoate capitalized values) legal and human
resource functions. With his rich record of strategic
accomplishments in water polo and Beirut, Mr. Heidorn
has proven successes in T&A, public offerings and
IC capital financing. Mr. Heidorn joins Iron Chef from
The Sparhawk Group, where he was CFO of Sparhawk's Business
Critical Consumption Group.
Josh Rokk Josh Scheartl
As a co-founder
of Iron Chef Louie, we reach out to audiences through
our food, each experience that we create will be a unique
masterpiece of it's own, infused with creativity, diversity
and an inspiring flow of ideas and an eagerness to explore
new flavors. Come experience a night that is a pure pleasure
to taste and smell.
Barsamian Jonathan Barsamian
"I was born
in a small town. My parents live in that same small town.
If I should die in a small town...I'm taking Barsamian
with me." If this seems cruel and unusual to you
then you're not from Lynnfield. Which in turn...seems
cruel and unusual to me. Such is life. No Iron Chef is
successful without a well balanced mix of riff raff to
help stir the proverbial pot...so to speak. Such elements
include a treasurer, a vice president of business development,
a web designer, a photographic director, a sous-chef,
a general manager, and, of course, a token Armenian to
drive said Iron Chef to the market.
Tih-May Tim Dumas
In the fall of
2003, Tim Dumas moved into Brookhawk wanting only a roof
over his head, a cool neighborhood to live in and roommates
that would not drive him insane. To quote Meatloaf, “don’t
be sad, ‘cause two out of three ain’t bad”.
With Tim’s subtle charm and quite demeanor, often
times you don’t even notice he’s there. Actually,
that’s because many times, he isn’t there,
instead keeping long hours overseeing the Moesha marathon
at the local UPN affiliate here in Boston. When he is
able to grace us with his presence he has proven to be
a loyal foot soldier in Iron Chef Louie’s army of
food enthusiasts and an all around good guy. Just don’t
call him Tih-May!
L-Train Loic Fabricant
Although he has
only lived at Brookhawk for a few months Loic Fabricant
has quickly moved to the top of the Iron Chef recruiting
corps. He constantly adds new faces to IC guest list.
His genuine, outgoing nature makes him a guest favorite.
Loic is a rescent graduate of the University of Oregon,
where he studied Biology. He has come to Boston to do
research at the Forsyth Institute, while going through
the process of applying for med school. That's right ladies
medical school, so the Iron Chef crew will soon have a
qualified person to deal with alcohol poisoning, not that
any of us will need it. "L-Train" is the youngest
IC board member, yet amazingly he is the most mature (obviously).
